At the same time, while Tony Jr. didn't prep her on those things, he's looking at the big picture IMO - getting her seat time, having her log laps and gain experience, she's doing that. So while it's frustrating to see her struggling now, she'll be much better over the last 6 races of the year when she can focus on it full-time. As for the Shepard thing, ESPN's Marty Smith filed a report that aired about 8:50 am est on the first live Sportscenter of the day (8-9:30 am est) and Shepard mentioned Danica holding him and some other cars up, saying she had to learn when cars are coming up on her to give them some more room. Now maybe I'm off base on this, but it appears to me that her getting spun out by him was no accident. Not vicious, just a little "vet to rookie" message every driver gets and Danica got her first taste of it yesterday, apparently.
